[W126 Coupe] bumper / fog light brackets

Lou,
Whether you have Euro or North American 5 Mph. bumpers does not matter. The
fog lights still attach to the bumper shock absorber/bracket.
I guess I have to take another look underneath my car, but the for lights
are definitely not riveted to their mounting braket. If I remeber correctly,
they attch with three 8 mm bolts and are quite easy to remove once you get
the car in the air.
It may be that the pop rivet is used to attach the fog light mounting plate
to the bumper bracket, but I'll have to check on that.
The part you have circled sure looks like the fog light mounting plate that
you need. I would go ahead and order those. I'm sure you can figure out how
to attach them when you have the parts in hand.
Regards,
