[W126 Coupe] Rear suspension

I hate to sound so ignorant, since I've owned my 1984 500 SEC/AMG-EURO for 7 years now, but I must confess I am.  The car has been undergoing a major rebuild the last two years, and I just was informed by the guys at Archer Racing, that the rear suspension in my car is a hydraulic suspension.  They say it's a factory install and I was surprised as I didn't think the 500 had that type of suspension.  Don't all pile on, but I guess I learned something new about my car today, and did that come on all the 500 sec's?  I'm sure I've got a lot more to learn and thanks for any info.  Rick Raimo
