Gerry,
These starters must be tough. I am on the original one, with it being
Started almost everyday for 25 years and 4 months. Now that I have said
Something, I will probably be paying a visit to MBI to have one
installed.

It looks like Henry would like us to come south in the spring. Daryl
Armstrong from Revolution Brake, in Ashland, should have his busy in
order
By that time and He would like to get involved. I think a Crater Lake
event
Is in order.
Mr. Nervig how does that sound to you? Mr. Smith are you listening?
B.C.

Hi Barry,

It turns out it was the starter. Luckily MBI had spares in stock so
the car is fixed and ready to roll. Unfortunately little I could do
with a kaput starter -- only the second time in 10 years I've had to
get towed in any of my cars. Thanks again for the "lift" up the hill
to get my SEC at my storage garage. I'll be driving that for a while
and give the 500 a rest after I clean and polish it up.

Earlier tonight I put a little story up on the 500E.com site about the
incident, and mentioned you.

The 560s and E500/500E use the same starter BTW, which is why MBI has
them in stock.

Let's indeed have a mid-winter coupes gathering. Perhaps up to
Timberline Lodge for lunch or ??? It would be fun to have a snowy
backdrop for the coupes.

Cheers,
Gerry
