[W126 Coupe] Transmission Problems with upshifting

Interesting, well, I would take the valve body from the good trans and
install it in the not so good transmission. Just be aware of the
plastic 'catch/slot' on the drivers side..if you don't engage that it
Really won't work. Also, there is a small spring loaded piece of
plastic that rests in the valve body..when you drop the VB, don't turn
it over, have a look @ where it sits..should you lose track I do have
that info in my machine.

Also, pay attention to where the 3 short bolts go on the VB..I want to
say they are on the passenger side but most of the transmissions I have
been working on of late are out of the car.

All it takes is the tiniest piece of gunk to make it's way into the
VB..similar pieces could all but never be found.
