Also, make sure all the idiot lights come on when turn the ignition on (stop
before starting).  
If one is out, it could mean some simply pulled the bulb out of the cluster
for a failing system rather then fixing it.  I found that in my car, they
popped the SRS and O2 lights and stuffed the holes with paper.  The lights
were still in the sockets and lit up behind the cluster.
