[W126 Coupe] Coil spring shims?

Jonathan,

I've been trying to get some thicker shims for the front for some time now...

The Benz dealer only offers two types for the front, 1 nib and 2 nib shims, I believe 5mm and 10mm respectively... I know that 3 nib and 4 nib shims exist as I've seen them come off a few SEC's when springs were being replaced; mine was one of them with 3 nib shims and my friend's with 4 nib shims. I wish I would have kept them. I need a 3 nib and or a 4 nib shim to adjust the front side to side level difference of about 1/2".

I believe we talked about this some time ago, but nothing materialized.

Let me know if you have or can get these. I would like 2 of each (3 nib and 4 nib).

That's not correct..there are @ least 3 different size shims available,

if not 4.



You can not use rear shims, the spring diameter is different.



Should you need I can get you any of the sizes.
