[W126 Coupe] wheel Fitment Help again!

Jas,

Those rims are very much borderline and whether they'll rub or not will
depend on your car's suspension components.

Is the car lowered? If so, by how much and what springs did you use?
Are your shocks and springs in good shape and within spec?
Is there any slop in your steering?
Do you have SLS? If so, are the spheres in good shape? Do the struts leak?
Is the pump and the proportioning valve in good shape?
Other suspension components (sway bars, bushings, bearings, etc.)?

My car has been lowered with H&R springs, I have SLS with 2 year old OEM
spheres and I have 2 year old Blistein HD shocks up front.

My rims are the AMG 3-piece, 17" x 8.5", ET 18 up front with 245/45 tires.
At the rear I have 17" x 10", ET 17 with 275/40 tires.

These wheels barely fit.

I have slight rubbing of the front tires at full steering lock and I have
slight rubbing on the inside of the left rear wheel at full suspension
extension.

I had the fenders rolled to eliminate minor rubbing on the outside of the
tires under heavy suspension compression.

Like I stated above, you may find that these wheels will fit with no issues,
but you're pushing the envelope and may run into several problems.

Personally, I would not go larger than 17". Tire profiles of 45 and 40 are
low enough for me. More rim and less rubber than that would result in a
harsh and uncomfortable ride. Just my opinion.

Good luck.
