[W126 Coupe] parts needed

Markus,
I have one in good condition. It had some what looked like glue residue around the edges which cleaned up fine with a razor. I had already purchased a new one so I replaced it anyway.
You're welcome to it for the cost of shipping and a beer at the next meet.

As for the sun visors, the electrical contacts are through the clip mounting to the roof and the metal straps on the visor shaft itself. All the wiring is invisible but internal. Very cool design!! Careful as it's easy to pop the fuse when removing the roof clip. The screwdriver shorts it out. I took mine apart, cleaned everything up and glued the base of the mirror assembly to the visor with weather-strip glue, replaced the bulbs, purchased new roof clips and everything works like a charm. Vanity lives!! ;-)
The roof clips were not that much as I recall from your local MB stealer... Not sure if Rusty has them.

Hi gang,

Anyone have any spare rearview mirrors around in good condition they want to
get rid of?

How about sunvisors and clips in light gray? Speaking of sunvisors....if
there is the vanity mirror in them with the lights, wouldn't you expect to
have wires going to them to power the lights? I took the existing ones out
and found no wires which surprised me. Maybe that's why they don't work (ha
ha)...maybe the originals were replaced at one time with these and the
originals had no lights in them?

Thanks,

Markus Meyer
