[W126 Coupe] RS indicator

Neil;

Another possibility....

Is the light red? Is it to the right of the ABS brake warning light (the ABS light is directly below the space between the tach and the speedo) and is this "RS" light almost directly under the clock?

If so, (although I have never seen an "RS"), that is the location used for the hydraulic suspension ("hydropneumatic resilience") warning light. I believe it is found on vehicles with hydraulic suspension on all four wheels. The symbol I HAVE seen at that location is a comical picture of a little car jiggling up and down like someone is fooling around in the back seat.

If this is so, and this light is flickering, check the hydraulic suspension fluid level first.

anyone know what the RS indicator/light on the dash is for?
it's next to the ABS light on the dash. I have an '83 500 SEC(Euro).
it flickers sometimes when I hit a bump.
thanks
Neil
