Hi Dan:

Pin switch going bad (you'd have to pull each one attach to an ohm 
meter, depress and hold while tapping the switch case to see if you get 
a state change and see if you get a state change with a slight release 
of the pin vs. a full release) or or the infamous anti-tow sensor in the 
trunk upper left corner near fuel tank (side nearest US antenna).  I say 
infamous because it's frequently pointed to as the culprit but I have no 
idea why.
