 Well, there are multiple ways to go about it.  Some of them include: 1) adjustments to the transmission throttle body - taking it apart, changing springs and other bits2) electronic - in Europe there was a first gear start module that can be "plugged in".3) When Bergwerks was still in existence they created a FGS module "kit"4) manually moving the shifter down to 2, then over to B (while stopped) then back to D5) some DIY wiring you can run between the kickdown switch and another relay/switch I'm sure there are other ways.  I went with #3.
