Regarding the Freeze 12 question. I have not used it in a MB but I did
use it in a 1964 Impala SS 327 factory AC and it worked very well for
three years. My A.C guy was surprised it worked so well as many of his
customers noted that it did not cool as well as the R12. Try swap meets
for R12 I found a case of 12 for $150 and unless I need a full recharge
the 12 lbs should last me for years with normal leak down of the system.
