[W126 Coupe] Why i Am Selling my 380 SEC

Hi Kivendren,

How much are you looking for? (for interests' sake). Also, by stating
that the drivetrain is in good order, I presume the other stuff
(e.g. air conditioning, electronics, etc) is not quite in such good
nick?

If you're having a lot of trouble with your car, I can't say I blame
you for selling. The SECs are wonderful motor cars, but if
you have to continually keep fixing stuff (especially if somebody
else in a previous life broke it) it can seriously detract
from the ownership experience I can imagine...

Get yourself a early 1960s MB Fintail if you still want to tinker
with an old Mercedes. Endlessly rewarding, but no electronics etc,
and still quite affordable (but rare)! And they have surprisingly
good handling and roadholding, you won't believe how you
can throw that car around. There's a reason why it won the Monte
Carlo rally in 1960.

I get a lot of pleasure from mine (though it's due for a full
restoration by Attie :-)

kind regards,
Dawid
