[W126 Coupe] In search of a light

My 1990 SEC was repaired after being rear-ended.  Part
of the repair process involved removing the truck
deck.  I remember there being a light that goes on
when the truck lid is lifted at least I thought so.  I
cannot find the bulb or fixture.  There is a switch,
(similar to that of a refrigerator), that activates
then the lid is lifted.  Also, I could not find any
reference to a truck light in the owner’s manual.
