 Jon, It really depends.  Many gray market cars did not have any emissions changes done, as there was a loophole allowing you to get outof doing that, but still having to do the DOT changes like headlights, door reinforcements, bumper reinforcements, etc.  Unless you have the history on the car, it will be hard to tell if anything was done emissions wise when it came in. My 500sec grey market car failed smog and I wanted to knopwif anyone had any contacts for the emissions stuff that was added to make it American?
