[W126 Coupe] STS remote turbo

I have been daydreaming about the remote-mounted turbo from Squires Turbo
Systems.   It seems like a great match for the custom headers Jim Nowak
built a few years ago (and I was smart enough to buy!)   The rest of the
daydream goes like this:  I learn to weld at the local community college, I
win a free tubing bending machine, and do all of the piping and installation
myself.  The air intake would be routed to a very tasteful and sleek grill
cut into the left rear quarter panel, with the air filter sitting in a
custom housing mounted in the trunk.  In addition, I would be smart enough
to figure out all of the fuel management issues (would there be any?)

 

Oh well, time to wake up!
