[W126 Coupe] Fuel Pressure

Great job.

Then you need a new fuel accumulator which is a small round metal
container that sits very close to the fuel pump/filter package at the
rear of the car under the trunk near the passenger rear wheel. If you
have not changed the filter, now is a good time. You'll also need (4)
new crush washers and I'd carefully inspect the metal lines and
fittings. If there is substantial rust or surface corrosion where the
lines meet the banjo fittings (nuts) you may need to replace one or more
of these lines at the same time. The entire assembly is removed in one
package. So you remove the holder that includes the fuel pump(s),
filter and accumulator. Also, check the holder for rust and determine
if it needs to be renewed.

If you provide your year and model (I've forgotten) I'd be happy to
provide the part #'s and offer any additional detail on 'how-to' if needed.

Regards,

Dick
