Not a good fit.

The standard 15" 205x65 wheel has an overall diameter of 64.8 cm.

Your 15" 215x55 tire will have an overall diameter of 61.8 cm, which is 4.6% 
smaller than a the standard wheel.

Most tire experts recommend limiting wheel diameter variance from standard 
to less than 4%.
