Barry;
The window switches in your 380SEC are tandem (double) front and back right side 000 820 81 10 and left side 000 820 82 10. They are all the same for W126 models SEC, SE, SEL, both 500 and 380 from 1981 to 1985 inclusive.
FYI, for all W126 models from 1986 on, the switches are individual for each of the 4 windows and are the same as for all of the '80's W124 chassis models also (300E, 300CE, 300D, 260E etc.......).
The construction is basically the same for all window switches with little springs and ball bearings and usually can be cleaned up and repaired. The '86 and later individual switches generally cost less than $20 new, so it's up to you.

I know you guys are try to help me with the rust problem in my 380SEC rear window but I really would like to know how to STOP the water getting in! The rust is not terminal at present and can be treated without further repairs or glass removal. I believe it enters at the left or right rear window areas and travels around to the rear window? Also are the W126 window switches the same throughout the model ranges? Or do the Euro and Aus delivered models differ from USA?
Thanks.......Barry (Australia)
