[W126 Coupe] Dashboard Electircal - What I found and what I will do Greg Kashella

Does not matter much who you buy them from where they are under $10 for
the whole set Greg. Does matter that you upgrade to the copper. Sounds
like you will have nailed the problem with both the terminal tightened
up and the fuses replaced. By the way, I think it's a function of the
tip of the aluminum fuses oxidizing that makes the contact and current
flow a PIA problem because they always seem to work for a time after you
wiggle them then it's back to their gremlin behavior after a time. I'd
probably check the resting voltage on the battery as well as the output
on the cables to make certain that new alternator is all set just for
good measure.

Take care,

Dick
