[W126 Coupe] Follow up Dash Board Electrical Mystery - Greg Kashella

Dear Group:

A year ago I did replace the voltage regulator and battery on the car.  I did have the car die when the regulator went bad.  I had the regulator purchased ahead of time anticipating the problem.  My mechanic at that time cancelled my appointment to install the regulator due to a family problem.  The next week the car died.  The car is an 1983 model.
