[W126 Coupe] 1989 560SEC Wheel offset

Jack,

The offset means nothing without knowing the width of the rim.

That said, the standard wheel, 15"x7", has an offset of 25. Anything higher
will set the wheel "deepe" in the wheel well.

In general, lower ET (offset) values are better for our cars. I run a set of
17" AMG rims, 17x8.5, ET 18 in the front and 17x10, ET 17 at the rear.

I also have a set of 16" AMG rims (16x7.5) with an offset of 17 which fit
the car very nicely.
