Hi Bellamy:

Actually, a friend of mine is running his 5.0 liter AMG on 7 cylinders.  
The spark plug is simply in place with no ignition wire attached.  
Apparently the previous owner created the problem and my friend has yet 
to find a mechanic that is willing to touch it.  Needless to say, he 
runs the car daily or weekly.

So your 490 while rare is not one of a kind!
