You mean a long block (i.e. wouldn't I need 560 heads and intake manifold)? Maybe I'm just confused, though honestly, you run a shop, and IIRC your labor price isn't ridiculous, maybe I should just have you take care of things. I've changed my mind about needing over 400hp, I think at 300 I'll be happy. I was planning on just doing a 500 euro and a mosselman for the 300hp. So if you thought you could get me a reliable 300hp (as long as it has big torque, lets say over 350lb-ft), having someone else handle it would make it so I could do it while still in school (though the money isn't there, I'll only have about 5 grand after this summer, but then once I turn 21 and get the money my grandfather left me I'll have like 20 grand...though I need to also do paint and leather and refinish the wood on the doors, plus H&R's and Bilstein HD's, and once the existing tranny burns up from 300hp a 5 speed auto if it can be done - IIRC the 500E and early SL500 can go in)...law school anyways.

I know you're in a 380..that's why I'm saying use a 560 short block..ie, you strap on your injection/timing etc, etc..

Having your FD setup for the extra HP would not be difficult and I know the rest of the system can keep up.
