Also. I've seen that the brushes leave a arc mark on the armature, as the motor stops in the same place each time. I've fixed this on other vehicles by cleaning the armature/commutater. To check, when the wiper stops, give the motor a wack, if it moves, its probably the motor.

Hi Jason,
Yes there is a relay that controls the wipers as well as a few other things. It is known as the combination relay and is located inside the main fuse box. It is the second longest relay. Might be a due to a bad connection of the relay. Might be worth taking it out, giving the pins on the relay and the socket a good clean with some contact cleaner and replacing. Otherwise, if you have access to another known good combination relay to try, at least that would rule that possibility out.
Hope this helps,
Good luck,
Vance.

Dont know if anyone can help. But when I turn my windshield wipers on the delay / intermittante mode the come on and just stop. If I run it med or high to they work fine. I replaced last year the contol stick. And Im not sure what else to check. Any suggestion?? Is there some type of relay??
Jason
