[W126 Coupe] Mercedes stock shocks, HD or comfort?

Comforts are the stock setup..  HD's work very well on lowered cars (more
aggressive damping working in conjunction w/ a stiffer spring).  I also runs
HD's on our SL with stock springs, made a noticeable difference in lean/bump
steer which I immediately appreciated.

I always find the stock setup on these cars far to soft..reminds me more of
my grand parents 70's Cadillacs then what I expect a German GT car to ride
like.
