[W126 Coupe] Hood pad replacement

It is a two person job. Sorry, I should have made that clear with Paul. 

Open the hood 90 degrees (full open) and once you've started sticking the
pad to the lower part, then you can release the catches on the hood to lower
it so you can reach all of the pad.

I did not repaint anything on mine. Just cleaned it with a wire brush and
installed the new hood pad over the leftover glue from the other one.

Do not you need two persons to do that job?
I am only 5'-6". I think that is a problem for me.
