[W126 Coupe] Brakes

I was getting abotu 8000miles out of pads and 16000 miles out of rotors when using the stock MB stuff. 23 thousand miles ago I put in PRB Metal Masters (also sold under the Axxis brand name) and stock MB rotors from the dealership...my pads and rotors still have life left in them. The only thing is that metal masters aren't as good cold, but they also fade MUCH less.

Hey guys just wanted to welcome the all the new people, and I  wanted to know what brand brake pads are u guys using and how long do the last? Cause im using tekstar and the last me about 8k miles.
 
My dads flipin out. Ive had the car for under a year and have changed the pads 3 or 4 times.

My car had some generic brand in it when I bought the car and it turned out to be that which caused my spongy brake feel (after having everything pressure bled several times and even replacing the master cylinder).  Original MB brakes return beautiful pedal, though if there are even better pads about I'm listening.
 
BTW if you want the pads to last, don't use the brakes (see Pix)
