Hi all,

Have you seen the newly revealed BMW 3-series coupe:

Am I the only one who thinks the designers might have looked to the
SEC for a
bit of inspiration? (though it will always stay a dinky little 3-
series, not
a "real" car :-)

It also has "new" extending seat-belt acceptors, just like our
beloved SECs, only 25 years later :-)

I also find their naming convention (e.g. "335i SE") a bit peculiar,
and the new coupe,
seen from the rear, has a stance which is much more similar to the
SEC than any of their
previous cars, especially with the wide, angular light clusters.

Anyway - we'll never know, but I thought you might find it
interesting...

regards,
Dawid
