I was about suggest that it was your lucky day and time to put in some
Cibies, but I guess not...either way no chance of that car your parting
being palomino is it (no response and I'll assume no)?

I hope I`m not going to tell my grandmother how to suck eggs here, but
today I had the front bumper and trims off the car and thought it might
be a good idea while I could access them easily to clean the lenses and
reflectors of the headlights and foglights. The lenses come off very
easily with simple push-on/pry-off clips used to secure them. I washed
all the lenses which were a bit dusty inside and hopefully will let a
bit more light through now. Three of the reflectors I just wiped with a
duster as they were also slightly dusty but otherwise perfect, however
the drivers headlight reflector was slightly tarnished, deciding to do
the job properly I thought I`d give it a good polish, applied some
autosol, rubbed for three seconds, bellowed some of Mr. Heins wonderful
new words as my reflector turned a rather feeble shade of beige plastic.
I`m lucky in having spares from a car I stripped, but just in case you
ever decide to clean your reflectors DON`T USE METAL POLISH.
All the best,
