Not at all.. My machinist in NY had made quite a few full on Euro motors.
He just finished re-building a 6.0L 32V 124 hammer engine. For what he does
day in a day out building a 560 Euro motor is ordinary. Ideally what I
would do is get a set of repair size 2 Euro pistons and build an engine up
off of that..minor increase in cc's, but if your starting from scratch why
not make the most of what's afforded you?
