Right, but how does it get there? Does it just snake straight through
one of the grates in th bumper?
Thanks,
Richard

Subject: [W126 Coupe] External temp sensor
Silly question: by what method does the external temp sensor get
to the place between the license plate and the plate frame. Ever since
my little run in, the temp sensor has been clipped to a grate on the
bumper, but this puts it too close to the engine (when stationary for a
while the temp starts to rise, so I think the problem is that it's too
close to the engine, when I'm moving though the temp reads dead on
accurate). I suppose I could just route it through the bumper grate but
for some reason I don't think that's how it was originally.
Thanks,
Richard
