Gerry,
I'd love to see what you get with your 3.07. The differential change REALLY
is a great mod!!
Ken,
<<does age have anything to do with it Mike? We all slow down.>>
Seems like I slowed down more than most!! But I have this heart transplant
in mind..
Alex,
The Antioch numbers were indeed with a 2.47 and I was also thinking that a
3.07 would be faster. Looks like we get to wait for Gerry to do his runs and
then we'll see what the 3.07 can do. If my SEC is still intact (haven't
started pulling the engine/tranny for the conversion) when Bob C wants to do
his runs then I'll bring mine along and I can do a direct comparison with of
a 560/3.07 to a 560/2.47 SEC.

Mike,
I have a G-Tech pro and I will do some times with mine with the new 3.07
that I have installed. I won't get to it until this coming weekend, and
only if the weather is good though.
BTW I love having the shorter gearing. Definitely the "killer" mod to go
with.
Cheers,

Went out last night and did the final runs on the SEC before the conversion
work starts. I wasn't particularly pleased with the results but it is what
it is. The empty, dead - end road I found was not especially level.
For the mathematicians amongst us, can these 0-60 times be corrected to sea
level? How much did I lose in time as the runs were made almost 3,000 feet
above seal level?
This car dyno'd 194 rwhp a month ago and did around 7.0 second 0-60's a
couple of years ago in Antioch, CA (500' MSL). I was surprised to see
results this slow.
