As I understand it, the fins are customizable, more and thicker fins for
stiffer tires, and the thickness of the bands are also customizable, so they
can make tires that will match performance of current tires, but be lighter,
and not need air.

Maybe they will make ones with larger wheel parts so
that the flexible fins are smaller.  That would make
sense for sport cars.  

My thought is how do wheel companies make their bling
with this product.

I would imagine the whole suspension would have to be
designed around these wheels/tires.

Although my first thought was, how much longer is it
going to take to clean these things? Add one hour to
washing the car. And thought BBS wheels were a pain.
