[W126 Coupe] Battery drain

For your information, I went that route years ago when I first found there is some intermittent drain somewhere. The result was they couldn't find anything wrong. As I have mentioned before, you stand more chance of winning the lottery of having the fault present while you are measuring or testing. Obviously while the car was being checked out by my local MB service centre, everything was OK at that time. These intermittent problems are a bastard to locate. Plus as I have also mentioned, I used to use the car on a daily basis. When you do this, you wouldn't know there was a problem anyway. It's only from the beginning of this year that I don't use it on a daily basis any more, so it's only since the beginning of this year that it has become a major hassle. Even then, knowing this problem exists, if I just wanted to ignore it, all's I need to do is just disconnect the battery for the days I don't use the car. But I like to have things working right. I think I have had my share of paying out my earnings to MB service centres. Especially when I had a complete top end engine rebuild including complete reconditioning of the heads and endless double timing chain fitted.
Also, isn't the existence of this list to prevent spending needless earnings and handing it over to over charging MB service centres?
Regards,
Vance.
