[W126 Coupe] Alternator belt question ! Please help

  Hi Guys,
  As i was coming from town this afternoon, the alternator belt on my 500 SEC broke ( I found out about it when i got home ) and it must have drained my battery cos it doesnt start .   Is this something i can fix on my own or i have to have it towed to a mechanic ? If it is Can anyone give me ideas on how to do it.
