has any one had the interior wood redone how did it turn out and is it 
exspensive

Hey all

First of all this is a site where like minded people (those of us who love
the SEC can gather information! And by God, if I have to hang around "grumpy
old men" to save myself thousands of dollars and maintain my favorite car I
will.

I would not expect my favorite mechanic to offer me any advice if I attacked
his character or opinions. Neither would I want to hang around and offer
advice if I was berated whenever I attempted to maintain the focus of a
discussion. The mbcoupes site is a wonderful resource for those having a
Mercedes 126 model and the collective knowledge in the people who list is
astounding. Our options are to use a resource like this list or go pay our
mechanic$ or Mercede$ to run diagnostics that probably won't isolate our
problems.

So as an owner of a 560 SEC I would request that we keep the personal
attacks from the list. Try to stay on focus and just remember that we play
here because we love the cars. When it's not fun anymore the people with the
knowledge will just go away and the new owners of the Mercedes Sec's will be
SOL. If something offends you, just let it go and pursue the next gem of
info on performance or maintenance for your car!
