My mechanic just charged me close to $950 to replace the water pump, drain
and flush the system and replace the thermostat. Since I cannot work on the
car in winter and it was leaking, I had to take it in, but D...... I wonder
if there is a connection between putting in all new belts a few weeks ago
and a now leaking water pump?

Can someone tell me the time to put in a water pump on our car. Mine is an
86 560.
Cal
If I'm reading the book right, it looks like 4.3 hours.
