[W126 Coupe] radiator hose question

this morning i was doing some maintenence and i noticed the top radiator hose was collapsed.  i open the cap at the resevoir and came back up.    the car had not been running.  i hadn't started since last night.  about 3 months ago i changed the antifreeze and the at that time the same thing happened.  do i have a problem...is there air in the system? and how do i get it out.
