[W126 Coupe] Headlights Beam Height Adjustment Switch - not working(560 Euro)

Hi Robert,

I was able to trace the vacuum lines from the distribution system
(it's purple, if anybody's interested),
and indeed found that one of the lines going to the right headlight
was disconnected. I reconnected it ("borrowing" some of the
rubber fitting over the hose by cutting a piece off one of the others
that are longer than necessary) and now it works perfectly,
now I can see further at night again, yay!

On a related note, I also noticed that my rear fog lights do not work
(I've never tested them before). The bulbs are working (tested),
the front fog lights are working, and there are no blown fuses. When
I pull out the light switch (second notch, to turn them on) the
little orange circle in the middle does light up.

Any ideas?

regards,
Dawid

P.S. This mailing list *so* beats either taking the car to a dealer
every time something small is wrong, or blundering around in the dark
not knowing what one is doing. Thank you so much!
