[W126 Coupe] Question re: updating 83 headlamp switch to 90

Hello mbcoupes types.

Would anyone know if the simple swap of the 83 headlamp switch (that 
does not support fogs ON with just side markers (Parking) selected) will 
accept WITHOUT further wiring the 90 switch from another 126 chassis 
MB?  The 90 would then give me clear sides on, citi-lites on & with the 
outward pull,,,fogs on without the Euro driving headlamps being lit.

So, it's hoping that the swap of the switch with wiring in place will do 
the trick.  Just need a confirmation...
