Hey all,

Holy cow, that first gear start technique with the gear shift really does
the trick!  I was wondering where the real power was and why I could never
really spin the rear wheels.

But at the same time, I can see why they did it as even a half-throttle
launch gives you 2 sec of wheelspin.  That would be unacceptable for most
"typical" MB customers of the time, I would guess.
