We also experiencing AC problems with our 380 SEC I have no clue where to
start. I just know that when I put on the AC nothing happens, Compressor
doesn't even click on.
So if any one has any idea where to start, I would appreciate this.
Where is this Mono Valve, you guys are talking about,?

It's not that different. I had my guys put a mono valve in my 380 and it
only took 10 minutes. That 2.3 hours better include the compressor labor as
well. Even if it does, I still think that is high. I agree with David,
find another mechanic.

2.3 hours of labor!!! For a mono-valve!!! That takes
all of 10 minutes to put it in. Unless the 380 is
vastly different than the 500 and 560, it is right on
top of the engine bay in the back. 4 screws hold down
the top, once those are out, pull the unit out, put
the new one in, and put the 4 screws back.
Find another mechanic too!!!! That sounds like a rip.
