If it was regularly maintained there is nothing to look for. IIRC they were not yet using the lifetime fluids (if they were, you want to see that tranny fluid was changed at between 60k and 80k). Also, I just saw that David's dad got a 1995, not a 1998. I don't think one had to worry about the radiators back then. Even if they did, that's about it. BMWs weren't as fancy or as advanced as MB in the mid 90's, but they were also less complicated therefore more reliable.
