Pads and springs I can`t help, but vis the actual leather, when the drivers bolster wore through on my SL I bought the rear seat leather from a scrapyard W140 (£25.00), took the leather and the seat to a local upholsterers ( Hukes of Hemel Hempstead ) and they charged me £80.00 to cut the old panel out and sew a new one in. The colour match is probably 98% perfect (new panel is much younger) and I`ve got loads of leather left for any future repairs. Obviously the hardest part of this process is likely to be tracking down a good old fashioned upholsterer (probably easier said than done).
All the best, John Poole `91 560 SEC & `90 500 SL
Where is the recommended place to get leather, seat pads, and springs for the fron and rear seats of a Palomino 1985 380SE (anyone know if the dealer network still has any stuff)?
Thanks,
Richard
