Oh, we care Hovsep...

The value of the SEC just keeps going up every time something like the
new CL comes out! 
So far there is no heir to the SEC throne in my opinion.

The new CL looks like it has an identity complex.
They took a bunch of "design" elements out of the marketing bin and put
them together in a non-coherent whole... "Design by Committee" if you
will... Like most MFG's nowadays.
I think the design is much more successful when one individual conceives
and executes it, like Albrecht Goertz did with the BMW 507, Datsun 240Z
and of course Bruno Sacco with the SEC.
This is classic design that will only appreciate with time like a fine
wine...

As someone mentioned, the panel gap on the hood of the new CL will just
get bigger with time...
