[W126 Coupe] Spring 2006/126 Invitational Rallye

Dear SEC Mid Atlantic Drivers:

Markus and I cordially invite you to attend the Spring 2006/126
Invitational Rallye to be held by date of group choice any weekend that
works between late May and July for an automotive event of Rallye,
Entertainment, and Catered Dinner and Cocktails in the scenic hills of
northwestern New Jersey.  With fond memories of Markus' distributor cap
frying to a crisp as the sun went down in a remote New Jersey reservoir
as the Black Bears began their night prowl, we invite you, too, to
create your own special memories as the Park Ranger looks on and says
"You Guys Need Help? All Those Hoods Flipped Open?".  This event is not
to be missed.  (Neither are the Legs.)

We envision a Saturday afternoon 2-3 hour Question Rallye for Couples in
W126 cars, Coupe or Sedan as you prefer, designed to invoke divorce
proceedings at rallye's end.  Star Cruiser will lead her flock of
hapless Rallye Cars conga line style through the lost hills of western
NJ while you answer in-car questions, some of which may have debatable
answers providing for cocktail party fodder later on, stopping for a
photo shoot and car parts check up, and continuing on to the finish line
as the sun sets.

Likely to return to The House of Benz, we will unwind sadistically with
a tough MBz engineering quiz on gear ratios, bore and stroke,
compression ratings, and torque, to see how smart you really are, or if
mathmatical equations are sharpened with internal consumption of
alcohol.  Otherwise known as Happy Hour, we can now kick back and and
enjoy our day, or kick tires if you prefer (but please, not mine.)

Dinner may be either Pot Luck (I fear that greatly) or by group
decision, you may wish to vote to chip in and have me cater the food,
since my meals are as good as my detailing skills.  Dinner
alfresco..........under the Stars, around the Stars.

I am willing to do the planning with Markus and another 126 friend who
wants to help.........but we need YOU to have some fun.  Send me your
ideas, dates, preferences, etc. so we may begin planning a really fun
date in the near future.  Any in question, please ask Markus, Dick,
Chet, or Matt what they remember from our last blast.......I remember
the Homemade 040 Cupcakes!!!!
