[W126 Coupe] OIL VISCOSITY

What's the owner's manual say? Assuming you're engine is in good shape,
I would go with an oil that fits the temp guidelines in the manual,
which for the 380 means I use 10-40. I used to use 20-50 in the summers,
but thinner oil has the benefit of allowing you to make a little more
hp, and in the 380 it's noticeable.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] OIL VISCOSITY

I know this sounds really stupid but...
I usually use 20/50w oil in my car here in NJ. Is there a reason why I
should be using 10/30w instead?
Thanks
Bruce
