That's the perfect person.  Here's some "legal" info to consider:

Right now, the guy says he'll take care of everything.  That may not  
be so 6 months from now when the numbers are in.  If your daughter  
feels "OK" tomorrow, but not next week and then gets worse, and if  
you need the legal system to help you straighten it out, the bad  
guy's insurance company lawyers will say:  "Well, I see you didn't  
even bother going to a doctor for weeks..."

So, no matter how your daughter feels tomorrow...call your specialist  
and get some advice tomorrow, which may include at least a look.
