Man, you'd think I was the old person and all the people on this site were the young guys. The fact of the matter is that carnauba wax yields a different look from the synthetic products, and if the OP wants old style appearance he should avoid the synthetic products. The synthetics last longer, are most likely easier to maintain, but they just give a different look. Heck, I even know a detailer who is the biggest promoter of his own brand of polymer wax in the world, but he does admit that it doesn't give quite the same look.

Wax/shine is of course subjective. Some say they have tried them all. Well, I've been to 48 States, 3 Worlds Fairs, 2 Buzzard Screwins' and a Goat Roppin' and I have never seen anything shine better than Zaino Bros. It is also so repellent that dirt wil not stay on it. It is so slick you can't sit on your hood or brace while shooting over your roof. I have no web site link as I'm out of blue ink. It is well worth also buying the ZFX to speed the curing process. I waxed 3 cars 2 times each in a couple of hours due to the ZFX additive. I guess Zaino is similar to Klasse being a non wax product. I can't remember if it has UV protetion but wish it had SUV protection. As far as traditional carnauba wax Zymol has great products that are supposed to feed the paint with neutrients. The best protection for car paint is a garage or quality cover--also saves the the interior. Jim Alexander
